Abstract

The paper aims at presenting arguments that in the evaluations presented in the documents of ESTEZET, communism has emerged as a significant political and socio-cultural threat in the areas of both Americas. The author acknowledged that communism was a significant political and socio-cultural threat in the areas of both Americas between 1941 and 1945. The analysis showed that the threat to the communist ideology and the Soviet supported actions in the areas of both Americas was very serious. In many countries Communist propaganda was practiced and the political scene was shaped. An important threat was the attempt by the Communists to break up the social order as well as the cultural identity of the North and South American countries.
