PROBLEMS OF THE ARMED FORCES REVEALED BY WHISTLEBLOWER IN THE MEDIA IN POLAND – CASE STUDY

Abstract

The aim of the article is to present a relatively new phenomenon of whistleblowing in Poland, which has a Polish version of "whistleblower" to describe the actions of the person who informs about irregularities in his workplace. The intention of the article was to analyze the factors that favor this form of civic activity on Polish public sphere. In this article the author has verified of the degree of whistleblowing using by soldiers to inform the media about pathological mechanisms in the Military Gendarmerie.
