GEOPOLITICAL ROLE OF POLISH NAVY IN NATIONAL SECURITY POLICY OVER THE PERIOD 1990-1999

Abstract

In the present article author analyzes geopolitical role of the Polish Navy in creating and providing national security policy. To do this arthur analyzes three mutually conditioning areas. First is process of geopolitical changing after collapse of Soviet Union and impact of this circumstances to system of international security. Second is political process of creating and providing national security policy in Poland in new and more unilateral international reality. The last one is assessment of use Polish Navy in achiving main goals of national security policy in those times.
