Abstract

Service in the army is a special kind of professional, and general human activity. It requires increased physical effort, great commitment, and frequent sacrifices. The living, and working conditions of soldiers are specific. The roles, and tasks they perform in the state, and in society pose huge challenges for them, which contribute to the occurrence of negative psychophysiological effects. Preparation of a person, and equipping it with appropriate psycho-sociological skills requires appropriate predispositions, and subjecting it to appropriate training, which element must also be shaping desirable character traits. The goal is to significantly improve the quality of tasks in designated environments. These resources, understood as relatively persistent personal, and social factors, have an impact on how a person performs in difficult situations. These factors include psychological moderators (temperament, interpersonal competences, etc.), social (interpersonal contacts, openness), biological (genetics, resistance), spiritual (faith, sense of sense), which are used to choose the best strategy for dealing with stress.
