The article presents the results of research on the challenges faced by the institution of family probation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was conducted among 109 family probation officers and was quantitative in nature.
In the discussion of the results, the barriers and opportunities resulting from the dynamically occurring social changes caused by the pandemic were presented. The results of the research indicated that the pandemic forced certain changes in the management of the institution of probation and in the way of supervision of clients. The pandemic accelerated the introduction of new technologies to work with minors and their families.
