Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present the tutoring method in modern education. In the first part of the article the author focused on explaining the basic concepts related to the topic of the work by referring to the literature of the subject.
Education is a process that undergoes constant changes due to technological and scientific progress. Important inthe teacher's work are methods that develop competence, skills and talent development. In modern education, from an early age, the importance of individual teaching is emphasized. The teacher should strive to develop the potential of his students, which should be preceded by knowing their strengths and weaknesses.
One of the methods of an individual approach to a student, which has its source in the early days of antiquity is the method of tutoring, which shows how important is the relationship between an educator / teacher and a foster child / student. The work shows the importance of the tutoring method in education.
