PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS IN THE BIOPSYCHOSOCAL PARADIGM INCLUDING HIPERTENSIVE HEART DISEASE

The importance of psychological aspects of somatic diseases is increasingly discussed in the scientific literature. The current state of biopsychosocial model of the health and disease means that understanding the etiology of the disease, the treatment method should be conditioned by many factors: psychological, environmental and social.
The first part of the work is a review. In the second part of the article, based on own research, author presented the role of psychological stress on the example of a cardiological disease. The aim of the article is to present the topic of psychological stress, place it in the biopsychosocial model of health and disease, with particular emphasis on hypertensive heart disease.
