MEETING OTHER – EXPERIENCE OF TEACHERS AND STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGY

Abstract

The article contains the results of research on the definition of the Other, the sources of knowledge and personal experiences of respondents related to cultural otherness. In the first part of the article, the authoress introduces the concept of Otherness and Strangeness and describes the phenomenon of cultural diversity and tolerance in the field of education. Further part of the article presents the results of own research whose analysis answers the question "Who is the Other?" in the perspective of teachers and students of pedagogy.
