Problems with legal and illegal immigration from Muslim countries to Germany pose a threat from one of the most important problems of the modern world: Islamic terrorism. Terrorism by Islamic fundamentalists is one with the main asymmetric threats to the international and internal position of Germany. The basis of Islamic terrorism was and still is the rivalry between the civilization of Western countries and the trends of the fundamentalist-traditionalist Muslim countries. We can define terrorism as a form of armed activity of specific people and organizations that seek to bring about a significant change on the political scene by means of blackmail, fear and the destruction of social and political life. A significant threat to internal security in Germany is the functioning of radical Islamic groups in that country. Islamic radicalists are considered a threat by supporting fundamentalist ideas. A possible scenario of an increased threat from Islamic fundamentalists in Germany may be related to discrimination against Islamic circles. It will be an important process as Muslims continue to oppose European societies, values and culture. This may result in further confrontations in Germany between Muslims and other citizens of that country. The scale of this threat seems difficult to estimate at present.
