The Education of foreign students studying social sciences – theoretical contexts, condition and perspectives

The aim of the considerations in the article is to characterize one of the aspects of internationalization, i.e. the presence of a foreign student studying social sciences in universities, taking into account three perspectives. The first one is expressed in outlining the theoretical background of understanding, analysis and interpretation of the internationalization of higher education. The next perspective focuses on presenting trends in the presence of a foreign student. This part is based on reports prepared by Polish and foreign institutions. Within the third perspective, recommendations aimed at increasing the level of internationalization of Polish universities are presented.
